Midland Classic is now part of the Rotala group as Diamond Bus East Midlands.
Midland Classic was created in 2005 by James Boddice. The fleet consists of a variety of vehicles, including a London Routemaster. Some of the buses began their lives with bus operators in the midlands.
Based in Burton Upon Trent, the company operates several routes in the area covering Swadlincote, Burton. Uttoxeter and Lichfield.
Private hire work is also undertaken
aswell as a number of school contracts.
At the end of August 2016 Midland Classic acquired the Arriva Burton operations, taking over most services within the town, and the garage on Wetmore Road.

Former Scania / Alexander Dennis 21 (YN62 AAK) is the newest vehicle in the fleet. The former demonstrator was also used by trent barton, amongst many other operators across the country.
4 brand new Metrocitys were added to the fleet in September 2016 following the takeover of Arriva services in Burton. 2 shorter examples are also in the fleet for use on the Lichfield circular routes.
