Dart 2229 reported being recovered by Burrows at 4pm today, from outside Allenton British Legion (on Chellaston routes).
Citybus 4322 on route 26, and 4328 on Chellaston routes - both after break downs. Thanks Rich.
Tue 6th:
Citybus 4391 and Olympian 4667 both on route 26, following break downs. DAF 4739 was one that failed.

Pride Park & Ride Dart 2216 on route 68, along with Volvo B10BLE 3605 and Excel 2998!
Dart 2089 on route 41! MPD 2224 on 111 PP&R, and 3604 on route 24.
Dart 2194 broke down on the Morledge whilst on the 36 to Sunnyhill. 2090 was also on this route. Thanks Chris.

26th Feb:
Optare Solo number 10 (MX56ACF) seen on Sunday 25 February at the Blue John Mine bus turnaround above Castleton with the local landmark of Mam Tor in the background when operating service 260 from Castleton to Edale. (C) Ian Moorcroft.
23rd Feb:
Hulleys old Fleetline (SCH 117X) is one of the buses destroyed in a fire at Ruddington Heritage Centre.
Ian reports that Dart number 2 (P881 PWW) replaced Vario number 9 on Town Service 4 on 15th February.

30th Jan:
MAN Evolution 20 (AE55 EHL) replaced Dennis Lance/Plaxton Verde 18 (P659 BUB) on the 172, after it broke down near Stanton.
On Friday 26th, MAN Evolution 16 (AE05 EUY) received a punture at Darley Bridge on the
172 to Matlock. Dennis Lance 12 (N362 VRC) replaced it. Thanks Jake.
21st Jan:
The Optare Excel (number 5) is still at Optare Hellaby. It was due to be collected last week,
but the bus did not cooperate!! It has not been fitted with an upgraded engine. Thanks Ian.

Fri 2nd Feb:
The oldest Mark 3 VR in service here, ex Yorkshire Traction (KKY 835P) has had a complete repaint with
large Johnson Bros fleetnames on its side, like some of the Olympians. Thanks Chris.

The Route 9 Solo broke down in Derby, and was took away on suspended tow. The former NCT Metrorider was the replacement bus.

Tue 20th Feb:
It is thought that former TM Travel Delta (RIB 7017) has arrived here via Arriva dealership (Cleckheaton). It is in an allover white livery.
Former Kinchbus Titans (WYV 62T) and (CUL 119V) are thought to have replaced Olympians (YSO 33Y) and
(SIL 1324), which have been sold on. Thanks Adrian.

At least 1 (maybe both) of the former Kinchbus Titans (WYV 62T) and/or (CUL 119V) are reported here. More soon.

Thurs 1st March:
RM1168 will be operating route 21 this Saturday - 3rd March 2007.
It will leave Swadlincote at 9.55, 11.55 and 13.55.
Return journeys from Burton will be at: 11.00, 13.00 and 15.00.

Tue 27th Feb:
Two former Blackpool Excels have arrived here. They are:
35016 (N207 LCK),
35017 (N208 LCK).
Both were gained with the business of Docherty, Irvine during 2004, and were in use with Stagecoach Western Scottish for a time.

Fri 23rd Feb:
Former East Midland Bristol VR 151 (OTO 151R) has been preserved in Cornwall.
Atlantean 167 (SUA 123R) is for sale on ebay. East Midland gained this bus when Stagecoach took over
Chesterfield Transport, and is ex West Yorkshire PTE/Yorkshire Rider. It is located in Exeter and is
now a mobile cafe! Its currently going for £1,550.

Former Tyne and Wear PTE/Stagecoach North East Leyland Olympian/Alexander,
14621 (C621LFT) is currently in use at Mansfield,
with Stagecoach in Lincolnshire fleetnames! This may be just on loan. Thanks Chris.

The third new Dart 35262 (YN56 SHJ) was out today.

Thurs 25th Jan:
The three new Darts here are: 35261 (YN56SGZ), 35262 (YN56 SHJ), and 35263 (YN56SHV). 2 of these were out on service today, for the first time, after
numerous problems! 35262 didn't make it out of the garage.
Dave from Chesterfield has sent a photo of Excel (P333 ABC), shortly after it was fitted with a new LED
display at the begining of January.

21st Jan:
A batch of 3 new Darts are currently stored at the Stonegravels depot in Chesterfield. They are
(YN56SHJ), (YN56SHU), and (YN56 SGZ),
and are to be used on route 96 between Chesterfield to Alfreton.

Jack reports: Stagecoach Mansfield Volvo Olympian 16482 (N132AET) on Pronto routes in Chesterfield!!
Route branded 51 Dart 34576 (YN04 YYA) on route 54 around lunchtime, before going back to route 51 later on in the afternoon.
Route branded 54 Excel 35006 (YN51VHP) on Route 25.

3 VDL/Plaxton Centro's are now due here, one more than previously thought. One of these will replace
Optare Delta (J26 GCX).

Mon 5th Feb:
John reports that TM Travel have a further 2 VDL/Plaxton Centro nuses on order. This will make a total of 5 of this type in the fleet.
They will also be fitted with leather seats, and are due in March.

Thurs 1st March:
The Calverton Connection route will be rebranded as "WOW" from May 2007. New Optare Tempo's, fitted with leather seats and air conditioning, will carry "plum"/maroon coloured livery, with matching interiors.
Tue 27th Feb:
129 is the next Paladin to be prepared for repaint into Unibus livery (132/3 have been done, but have yet to make an appearance in service). I wonder what, if anything, has replaced Olympian 712?
Long Eaton Express Solo 439 is currently being repainted into trent barton livery.
Various liveries can be seen on buses operating for Kinchbus in Loughborough at the moment.
Minibuses 39 (N+D livery), 49 (Blue former C5 livery) and 284 (Trent livery, with N+D names!) can all be found on the University Shuttle route 7 during the week.
284 was used on the short 61's Wirksworth to Bakewell (in pre . days), the back being a darker red due to an advert for these "Derwent Valley" services.
7 new slim line Solo's will replace all minibuses on this service (Kinch route 7) later in the spring/summer.
Frio Excel 199 is still in A garage at Meadow Rd. 201 is at Dove Holes.
Mon 19th Feb:
Unibus Paladin 132 failed its MOT, so has not yet entered service in its new livery. 133 is being prepared for repaint into the same livery.
Former trent Excel 159 is reported to have joined others at Mckindless.
Both former Kinchbus Titans 771/2 are reported in the yard of Littles Travel.
Fri 16th Feb:
Dart 903 was in an accident with a Stagecoach vehicle at Mansfield Bus Station, and as a result
is currently off the road. Thanks Dan.
Tue 13th Feb:
At least 1 (maybe both) of the former Kinchbus Titans 772/3 (WYV 62T) / (CUL 119V) are reported
with Littles Travel, Ilkeston. More soon.
199 is currently off the road, as it is being fitted with a new engine.
Sat 10th Feb:
Adrian reports Paladin 132 at Derby, repainted into Unibus livery. It will replace one of the Optare Sigma's
on the "Derby City" University services.
Transpeak coach 59 is being repainted into the revised livery (like on 56 and 61).
The Sutton minibus 821 for route 146 is "being tidied up" and having some adverts applied. Should be out this week.
Sat 3rd Feb:
Olympian 712 is now at Langley Mill, and is thought to have been sold. More soon...
Paladin 101 back in service, based with N+D at Derby. Still carries full Trent buses livery, including names.
All Airline Shuttle Darts have been fitted with a orange LED destination display (like on RA coaches).
Minibus 39 re-instated, on loan to Kinchbus!
Sixes Scania 683 back after repaint, 690 due for one next. 684 off for MOT test, 685 off next.
Sixes Scania 687 has returned to Belper, after having the door repaired. Thanks John.

John reports that 2 Sixes Scanias are currently out of use. 687 is still at Yeates, Loughborough awaiting a new door!
It has been there a good few weeks now! Meanwhile, 683 is at Langley Mill for a full repaint - must have too much of that coloured paint left!
Lets hope the new tempo's aren't that colour, as the interiors are meant to match!
Solo 424 is another repaint into trent barton livery.
Wed 24th Jan:
New Optare Tempo's are due to start arriving from the end of March.
Trent Barton will get 12 Optare Tempos. The routes that will receive the new buses later this year has been announced:
* The X38, which will double in frequency to every 15 minutes, and gain a Sunday service, will get 2 - replacing 1 Dart.
* Calverton Connection will get 6, replacing 6 Scanias.
* The Black Cat will get 4 replacing 4 Excels.
Kinchbus are expected to recieve the rest of the order consisting of 7 Solo's and 4 Tempo's. It is likely that:
* 4 Tempo's replace Excels on the routes 11/12.
* The new Solo's replace minibuses on the University services in Loughborough, making the entire Kinchbus fleet low floor.
The fate or the vehicles that will be displaced is unknown at present. More soon.....
Both Titans at Langley Mill are reported as Sold. New owner unknown. Olympian 712 reported to be For Sale.
21st Jan:
Trent have ordered 16 Optare Tempo's and 7 Optare Solos. All are to be fitted with high back leather seating.
The order has been officially announced on the Optare website. Details of what services the new buses will be used on,
are not yet available, but it is thought that 6 Tempo's will replace Scanias on the Calverton Connection at Sutton.
Another four from the order, are thought to be going to Kinchbus to replace Excels, although this has not been confirmed.
More details soon.
Solo's 423, 425 and short Excel 900 are the latest to be painted into trent barton red.
The Dennis Lance/Optare Sigma's that are now with Go Goodwin Bus & Coach, have been registered.
355 (M355 PRA) is now (GSU 489).
356 (N356 VRC) is now (GUI 441).
363 (N363 VRC) is now (WSV 541).

Wed 28th Feb:
Excel 252 smashed into the back of NCT Omnidekka 744 on Wednesday morning, thankfully no serious injuries. Excel 253 replaced it on the Calverton Connection.
Sixes Scania 688 replaced 900 on the 71. 900 went onto the 6.1, where it took 448 off - 448 went onto Allestree! 938 still off - failed MOT. Thanks John.
Solo 447 on the 6.1 (Derby to Bakewell) along with Darts 930/3 and Excel 900 (so 935/7 off).
Scania 667 on SF, 669 on R5. Excel 233 on V1/3, 234 on Mickleover. Dart 946 on amberline.

Arriva liveried Citybus 738 on route 17 to Duffield.

Scanias: 636 Ruddington Connection, 666 - R5, 668 and 669 - Cotgrave Connection. Excels: 252 - Calvertons, 253 R3.

Sixes Scania 689 on Mickleover, before being replaced by 667 (which was on SF earlier in the day). Thanks Chris.
Another sixes Scania, 690 was on the 71, after Dart 930 failed in Belper. 933 was replaced by Solo 448 in Middleton after a break down and Unibus Paladin 104 on TP. Thanks John.

Unibus Lance 364 involved in an incident near the coack pitt island at rush hour, when Airline SHuttle Dart 917
failed in Derby.
Thurs 22nd:
Dart 934 on loan to Nottingham, on route 18. A Dart used on the evening LEX service too, aswell as 946 on BC, and 949 on H1.
447 on the 71 once again, with Dart 939 returning to replace the other Dart, 938.
Excel 900 and Solo 448 on the 6.1, whilst 233 was on Mickleover and 234 on V1/3.
Scania 665 on RA, as spare coaches 62/3 were on TP.
Paladin 123 on Unibus route 6, 298 on X17. Both Arriva liveried Citybuses reported out in service too at one point,
one on the 70 to Barrow on Trent, the other on the 17 to Duffield. Thanks to Dan for many of todays sightings.
Wed 21st:
Fred reports Excel 900 on the V1/3.
Chris reports Solo's 447 on the 71 and 448 on the 6.1 and 423 on H1. Excels 233/4 on Mickleover and Dart 946 on BC.
Kinch had Solo 436 and spare dart 897 on the Airline Shuttle. 899 on route 2.

Some odd workings today in included a Long Eaton Xprss Solo on the 18, and sixes Scanias on "the ONE" and red arrow routes. Thanks Rob.

4 Red Arrow coaches off today the replacements being: College Excel 161! Coach 63 and Scania buses 665/7.
Transpeak had Unibus Paladin 104 on the Manchester runs again, and Excel 234 on a low floor duty.
Darts 946 and 949 on the H1! 447 on X38, 448 on V1/3.
233 on Mickleover, 900 on 6.1 (937 off for MOT) and 669 on R5.
N+D Vario 299 returned and was on the X17 - although the destination blind has been removed! Paladin 108 also reported on the route.
Mon 12th:
All sorts reported allover the place today!! Many thanks to Jim and Chris for these sightings.
Sixes Solo 419 on "the Allestree" later in the afternoon. Sixes Scania 683 on routes 71/2 for most of the day, until 938 returned.
College Excel 161 made an appearance for a short time on the Spondon Flyer.
Belper Dart 938 was on the V1/3 for a short time after being repaired, before returning to route 71/2. Replaced on Villager by 448 (which was also reported on X38 earlier in the day).
Unibus Paladin 104 on the transpeak in place of a coach.
664 on loan from Langley Mill, on Rainbow 5 along with 636. 668 on R4.
665 and 667 on Red Arrow, dart 946 on BC, and spare Solos 402/3 on the nines.
Dan reports 912 on Cotgrave Connection and 931 on Radcliffe line.
Sat 10th:
Paladin 123, Scania 665/7, Excel 234 and coach 63 reported on Red Arrow during the day, when diversions were being taken due to delays on the A52 (road works).
Ian reports Dart 946 on H1, Excel 900 on 6.1 (then Mickleover), Solo 448 on V3 and Scania 668 on R5.

Dan reports that coach 62 replaced Excel 231 on the Mickleover. 231 had "bad brakes". 63 on RA.
Roger reports Excel 900 on the 6.1 (Derby to Bakewell), in place of 933 which has a "bad floor".
667 was put onto Transpeak in the afternoon, joining 199 (which is fitted with no blinds).
Both "the one" Excels 265/6 missing, 233 being one of the replacements.
