Ashover show - not by bus!
| 6/8/2011 Its the Ashover Show next Wednesday, the busiest day of the year for the village, with visitors coming from far and wide. It is also the day that Derbyshire County Council have decided to divert Hulleys bus routes 63 and 64, so that they avoid the show! This seems to be so that the buses avoid the traffic in the area, but what about the people who intend to travel there by bus? Anyone wishing to go to the show from Chesterfield or Matlock will have to walk from Kelstedge, and from Clay Cross they will have to walk from just passed Littlemoor, each a walk of about 2 miles.
