Thursday 5th July:
Nottingham City Transport recently took delivery of their last ever batch of OmniDekkas, these
are for Nottingham Network: Lilac Line services 23/24 to Bakersfield, all have Bright-tech
LED Destination equipment. They are fleet numbered 940 - 944.
SIGHTINGS
Saturday 7th July:
OmniCity 500 on the 89 today! All 3 OmniLinks out on Service CityLink 1, Queens Park and Ride.

Thursday 5th July:
Only about 3 OmniCity's on the 35 today, with Excels: 547, 545,548, 556 and Trident 665
noted on it at various times of the day - did note that 556 was on the
30 at one point.
543, 544 both on 68/9's.
The GO2 White Solo 245 out on 11's,Spare GO2 Omnicity 512 out on 6's, a spare
white Omnidekka noted out on the 58 (a 53 reg), and the 77 (an 04
plate), and one of the 06 plates out on the 36, whilst the other was on
the 89C this morning.
The OmniDekkas were out as well on the 23/4 looking very smart... It has to be said. Don't
forget to email your sightings to me! Especially for those sightings of Olympians!

Monday 30 July:
New Tempos due for The Keyworth Connection will be in service soon,
they will wear a plum livery, and have "matching" interiors (plum seats),
air conditioning, Mobitec Powerblind Technology. It is rumoured that the name will be WOW
however this is not yet confirmed.
Excel 900 is on loan at Sutton Junction
to cover for the re-sealing of Windows on the Rainbow 3/Pronto Excels - 253 is also likely to
be re-sealed, 252 was done when it was repainted. Dart 901 is now having a new engine fitted.
931 nasty NSF corner damage, parked on back row at Langley Mill Thanks Richard

Monday 30th July:
Scanias 639 on R2, 666 on Cotgrave and 669 on Xprss. Thanks Dan, Excel 253 on R3, 252 on Calverton Connection.
Friday 27th July:
252 on 3B,later taken off. 404 on Connect, 402 9.3, 946 on Amberline in Hucknall, 664 on R2, whilst blue Vario 275 was on
Midland General's 146 to Sutton Junction. 252 was on Calvertons yesterday Thanks Darren.
Monday 9th July:
252 and 253 both on The Rainbow 3 at one point during the day. Dart 933 and 906 also out on the 3B!
Excel 900 is currently away. Branded R3 Excel 244 was at Langley Mill yesterday, 243 is off the road
following an incident where it hit a young lady whilst returning to Nottingham from a N3 working to
Hucknall on Friday. Note 243 now has old blinds due to its new blind ripping.
Scania 639 out on R1, 638 on R2.
Saturday 7th July:
666 on the Bingham Xprss, 913 on Keyworth Connection, 669 on Cotgrave Connection, Darts 933 and 898 on Rainbow 3 (3C/3A rota)
Whilst over in Loughborough, Excel 227 was still out on the 11/12, Missing Tempo being 321. Ex Flying Turd Dart 899 on Route 2,

Friday 6th July:
Rainbow 4 Scania 677 on the Cotgrave Connection this morning! Thanks Rob. 669 also out there on the Cotgraves. Paladin 129
Unibus was also out on the S8/S9 Localbus runs. 664 out on Rainbow 2, 638 on Rainbow 1, 252 on pronto, 900 on Rainbow 3 Thanks Dan.
253 out on Rainbow 3 this morning.
Thursday 5th July:
Howard reports Scania 638 on Rainbow 2 900 on the Rainbow 3B, 937 was also on Route 141. Thanks Dan.

NEWS
Monday 9th July:
The 3 Nottingham University MAN's are going onto service 19 (Paul James) and will be repainted red, then 2
W reg Solos and the Tempo are going to Lincoln. The Solos will replace the
last two Metroriders N156/157 BOF and the Tempo
will allow service 37 Newark - Tuxford - Retford to be converted to low floor operation. Thanks Stephen.
Friday 6th July:
Recent News: Volvo B10M/Duple E158 XHS is now in red Veolia livery, along with East Lancs rebody WJI 9362.
23 Olympians are due from Ensign and Dublin bus, The first 3 Volvo Olympians have arrived. They are L203/9/10 SKG.
They have Northern Counties Palatine II bodywork and have come from Metroline. Ensign have converted them to single door
and have been fitted with plastic style seating! Recent flood victims were:
AE05 EVB, A398 CRA, Excalibur coach ECZ 9139, W386 PRC. AE05 EVB returned to service a few days after nearly sinking in Lambley.Mercedes
811D G50 BEL was scrapped last month.
MCW Metrobus POG 569Y is still working hard at Lincoln and is likely to stay longer than
the F*** XOF MCW's!!!
ELC Flyte Rebuild GLZ 3140 is off the road following an incident with school children recently.
WJI 9361 another rebuild failed when out in place of GLZ the other day.
Plaxton Derwent G569 ESD Was involved in a minor accident whilst out on route 61 the other
day, a car ran in to it at Woodborough - various buses have been out on its rota over the past
few days - including an ex Arriva H reg Citybus! And MCW Metrobus GOG 127W - note this is
painted Lilac and white rather than purple and white. Many thanks to Rob for most of this info
