NEWS
August 2007:
From next month, Notts and Derby will be cancelling just about every service operated in Nottinghamshire,
this is because of a few reasons as far as I can gather, the School Contracts were lost to Premiere, many
Nottinghamshire services were interworked with school services (drivers rotas), so the dead mileage, and
not enough profit as it is made the company decide not to carry on with Nottinghamshire journeys, confirmed axed
journeys include: EX, 555, 21(some journeys will remain!), all Localbus shopperbus services (which will go low floor
and pass to Premiere), schools: 410, 401/2/4/5/6, 411, 412, 407, 418. But it appears that service 17 (Beeston - Stapleford)
will remain! As will service 21, Nottingham - Ilkeston though the 17:15 Nottm journey is cancelled; this must've been
interworked with a school contract. Service 555 will be taken over by Veolia (Dunn Line) in September, and the EX
Will be taken over by Localbus and numbered X3!
